Learn more about our Mother & Baby Yoga classes, a gentle, nurturing yoga session designed especially for mothers and their babies.

Woman smiling, playing with a baby on a blue mat in a bright room. She wears a black top and patterned leggings; a white sofa and plant in background.

This class offers a calm and supportive space where you can move your body, connect with your breath, and bond with your baby — all at your own pace. The yoga is focused on postnatal recovery, helping to gently rebuild strength, release tension, and support emotional wellbeing, while naturally incorporating your baby into the practice.

There is no pressure for your baby to be settled or still. Feeding, changing, crying, smiling and sleeping are all welcome here. Each class is flexible and responsive, allowing you to tune in to both your own needs and your baby’s.

Expect gentle stretches, simple strengthening, mindful movement, and moments of rest, alongside playful interaction and connection with your baby. You’ll also have time to relax, reset your nervous system, and share space with other mothers in a warm, understanding environment.

Who is this class suitable for?

Postnatal mothers and their babies. Suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 8 weeks post c.section right up to 1yr old or when your baby is on the move.

No prior yoga experience needed.

Come as you are -- This is a space for movement, connection, and kindness towards yourself and your body.

Gentle Safety Note

This class is designed to support postnatal recovery in a safe, nurturing way. Please ensure you have received medical clearance from your GP, midwife, or health professional before attending. All movements are optional and can be adapted or skipped at any time — listening to your body is always encouraged.

You are warmly invited to take breaks, feed, change, settle or simply rest with your baby whenever needed. This is a non-judgemental space, and there is no expectation to “keep up” or perform. If anything feels uncomfortable or doesn’t feel right for you or your baby, please pause and let the teacher know.
